The ASEA Advancing Life Foundation provides both funding and manpower to support the efforts of charities around the world. In third world situations, we partner with organizations which address issues such as extreme poverty or who partner with local villagers to develop clean water, infrastructure, and ongoing education. In other parts of the world where that is not an issue, we seek out partners that support the needs and relief of children and families in need.
The multibillion-dollar black market has head start on resources, but we can make it up philanthropically. To accelerate the capture and ensure the prosecution of traffickers, today’s specialized resources and countermeasures are being replicated. The Advancing Life Foundation has committed to fund new tools for law enforcement under O.U.R.’s guidance, as well as sponsoring a full-scale rescue mission to extract children currently enslaved and exploited.
Donations through the ASEA Advancing Life Foundation will enable the operation and expansion of aftercare facilities that provide young victims with a safe haven to heal and rehabilitate. Donations also fuel the addition and training of new canine members of the Canine Law Enforcement Program. These dogs are taught to recognize the scent of hidden electronic storage devices (thumb drives, SD cards) to help police find evidence of child pornography during investigations.
Our partnership with O.U.R. is our most comprehensive effort yet to break cycles of abuse, and it represents a renewed urgency in fulfilling our mission. We are now addressing the fastest-growing sector of international organized crime, and we are doing it with an established organization focused on providing the loving long-term aftercare that victims of abuse need most.
Known as “La Valle de Intag” Cotacachi, Ecuador is a lush, fertile zone where agriculture flourishes. But with 87% of the population living at the poverty line and 44% depending solely on agriculture, there is a dire need to strengthen economic opportunities in the region.
Access to the right education, however, is a challenge. Poor graduation rates, high illiteracy, and a struggling economy encourage youth to flee from rural communities to urban slums.
The ASEA Advancing Life Foundation, together with the support of the Choice Humanitarian, will build an innovative vocational and training center that serves over 1500 families.
This center will provide youth and underemployed adults in the region with the opportunity to live, study, and gain a nationally certified vocational certificate in masonry, carpentry, cooking, tourism and more. Every dollar raised will go towards the planning, building, and completion of this center, the first of its kind in the area. By bringing customized training solutions to rural communities, we can help elevate the opportunities of countless families.

A key component of the Advancing Life Foundation is embracing and celebrating that we are part of a larger community. Whether you see your community as your apartment building, your neighborhood, your town or city, your state, your country, or the entire world, HAIMAD encourages everyone to take a bigger role in ensuring that community needs are met, and people feel loved, supported and valued. We can all have an impact and make a difference in changing and improving the lives of others—while improving ourselves and serving those around us.
