Every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment, yet for many in the Philippines, the reality is far from this ideal. The Exodus Road, with the support of ASEA Advancing Life Foundation, is relentlessly combating child tracking, offering survivors a chance at a brighter future.
By the numbers
Over the past months, 77 survivors, including 57 minors, have been rescued from unimaginable abuse. Among them was a 6-day-old baby being sold on Facebook—a horrifying reminder of the urgency of this mission. 100% of these cases involved a social worker present for immediate after care. Each rescue represents not just freedom from exploitation but the promise of hope and healing.
These victories were made possible through 40 collaborative cases with local law enforcement, resulting in the arrest of 22 traffickers. The Exodus Road’s innovative digital intelligence and operational support have proven instrumental in dismantling exploitative networks, ensuring trackers face justice.
Education and empowerment It takes a village
But the ght doesn’t stop with rescues. The Exodus Road provides comprehensive aftercare to survivors, ensuring they receive immediate support and long-term advocacy. Their prevention eorts are equally impactful, empowering 835 young people and parents through educational workshops. These sessions, held in high-risk areas, equip communities with the tools to identify and combat tracking, creating a ripple eect of awareness and protection
It takes a village
One unforgettable story highlights the stark reality and profound impact of this work. Sixteen girls were rescued from a party scene where trackers had exploited them for sexual services. Despite their trauma, they now have a chance to rebuild their lives, supported by dedicated social workers and a community committed to their recovery.
