For so many of us, it’s a wonderful time of year, but oftentimes the most deserving recipients of the spirit of giving do not get the food they need. On Giving Tuesday, Advancing Life Foundation has pledged to help as many families as possible have enough food to eat this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday
Generally given less attention than highly advertised days like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, perhaps the most important event every holiday season benefitting folks nationwide is Giving Tuesday. This online trend has inspired volunteers at ASEA and The Advancing Life Foundation to contribute as much effort, funds, and good cheer as possible for the local community. On December 1, Advancing Life will host a Giving Tuesday event in which ASEA corporate employees, field associates, and executives will contribute a little holiday spirit for those in need.
Helping Families In Need
We are asking for anyone able to help donate funds during Giving Tuesday to help us celebrate the season and, even more important, give to those struggling the most this winter. With increased food insecurity for so many families across the country due to COVID-19, Advancing Life is focused on fundraising to serve others this holiday season. Any money that is donated on Giving Tuesday and throughout the month of December will go directly to feeding families during the holidays. Over 20 million children in the United States depend on free lunch and breakfast at school every day in order not to go hungry. Our goal is to make sure that there is food on the table for as many families as possible this holiday season.
